Louisiana Country Dance Hayride

Vendor and Advertiser Information:

The Louisiana Country Dance Hayride brings in more than 500 competitors and spectators from Texas, Mississipi, Kansas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.  The event is sanctioned by the American Country Dance Association and is the second competition in their annual championship series.  ACDA boasts a large following and has grown considerably since its beginning in 2003.

Lucky Stars Dance Studio owner Ray Michiels is the event director.  He has been teaching dance in Alexandria for over 10 years and has taught more than 1000 students over this period.  In addition to his studio instruction, his social events attract dancers from across the state and sometime beyond.
